The hotel takes his name from the XVII century painter G.F. Barbieri, who was called Il Guercino because of his marked squint. He contributed, with his original and self-taught painting, to the important historical-artisitc period belonging to I Carracci, Guido Reni, Domenichino, Francesco Albani, Alessandro Tiarini and to many other protagonists of classical revival of italian painting. It is not by chance that the hotel is in via Luigi Serra (he was a painter, too), in a quiet area, behind the railway station, whose streets recall the names of the distinguished mentioned artists.
ROOMS: Completely renewed, the hotel offers 40 small and elegant rooms with internet  wireless connection, satellite lcd tv, air conditioning and a short number of it with terrace.


LOCATION: Its strategic position makes the hotel "Il Guercino" easy for all destinations: Situated at 300 m. from the Central Railway Station, at 1.500 m. from the Fair Exhibition Centre and "Mambo"; at only 20 minutes walking from "Piazza Maggiore", the "Two Towers", "Neptune Fountain" and Civical Archeological Museum; 7 km from G.Marconi Airport and 70 km from Ridolfi Airport Forlì.

Ottima struttura, a pochissimi minuti a piedi dal centro e immediatamente vicino alla stazione centrale.

E\' un albergo eccellente per il rapporto qualità prezzo ed il personale è estremamente gentile. Assolutamente da consigliare

Se ci ricapiterà di venire a Bologna....torneremo sicuramente!!!

soggiorno di una sola notte ma ottima impressione generale. L\'unico appunto al vano doccia; non vi era alcuna mensola poggiasapone ed inoltre il malfunzionamento del miscelatore mi ha quasi impedito di prendere la doccia. Ho fatto rilevare al portiere il fatto e ha riferito che avrebbe immediatamente provveduto.

Non è chiaro il pagamento via Internet. Viene chiesta la carta di credito come garanzia della prenotazione, ma sembra che venga addebitato subito il saldo, senza spiegazioni. Ho dovuto telefonarvi per avere la spiegazione.

Soggiorno perfetto.

Hotel confortevole, curato e attrezzato ad un prezzo ragionevole. Facile da raggiungere dalla stazione dei treni e non lontano dal centro. Ci tornerei.

Situato in posizione strategica(a 5 minuti di cammino dalla stazione centrale)permette di raggiungere velocemente sia il centro che la zona fieristica.Molto cortesi gli addetti alla reception.
